This participatory workshop is intended to support participants to practice trauma-informed approaches in their work and community relationships.
We will:
● Reflect on Trauma’s impact on:
○ How we view the world
○ Our mind and body
○ How we interact
● Rethink “symptoms” as survival adaptations
● Practice basic tools for working with people who’ve experienced trauma
● Consider ways to create and sustain trauma informed spaces, interactions, and supports
